The Cleveland Cavaliers are just absolutely pathetic, going down 0-3 to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference finals, falling at home 121-108 at home.
Let’s be real, we all knew the Cavs weren’t going to win this series, because the Knicks are a slight better team, the Cavs are exhausted from going to back to back game 7s in the first and second rounds, and because the NBA wasn’t going to allow the Knicks to lose and not go the NBA finals due to viewership.
But damn, we at-least thought the Cavs were going to make this series interesting, winning a game or two, but no, the Cavs are down 0-3, losing all 3 games by 10+ points, going out sad, most likely getting swept in four games.
The Cavs literally aren’t even trying, with their stars doing absolutely Jack shit on the offensive end and defensive.
The Cavs have been awful on the defensive end, allowing easy close shots from Brunson, and have allowing the Knicks’ role players like Landry Shamet to kill them from 3.
The main problem with the Cavs is that they are soft wussies. No one on the team besides Max Strus and Jaylon Tyson are strong mentally and are too afraid to show a little aggression and fight.
The Cavs are also getting away from feeding the big in the paint, like they did in the first half today, first half of game 2, and 3/4 of game 1 before the collapse.
The Cavs are also lazy, showing no effort to get back on defense, allowing the Knicks to get fast break point Off made baskets by the Cavs……MADE BASKETS.
Just absolutely pathetic.
Whatever happens in the rest of this series, which will most likely be a 30 point loss on Monday night with a Knick fan takeover, Coach Kenny Atkinson needs to be fired. 100%. I would be shocked if Kenny is actually offered a NBA coaching contract after this season from any other team. He is that bad.
It just seems like Kenny doesn’t care, not holding players accountable, not calling timeouts on big Knick runs, and smiling and laughing in press conferences after embarrassing losses.

He doesn’t care because his beloved hometown Knicks are going to the NBA finals.
In a New York Post article, they state that in a post game interview after game 7 in Detroit, Atkinson states that , “I’m a New Yorker,” and also states that “Going back to the Garden, I worked for the Knicks — I know everybody there. My whole family’s there basically. That’s special.”
Now I’m not saying Kenny is losing games on purpose so his favorite team growing up can go to the Finals, but it definitely looks suspicious, with him smiling and laughing after heartbreaking loses to them, and lack of game management like timeouts, allowing the Knicks to go on 44-10 runs and blow a 22 point 4th quarter lead.
I don’t understand how you can sit there and smile after blowing a 22 point lead in game 1, and losing by 10+ in game too. It just absolutely makes zero sense.
I personally cannot wait until his pathetic self is gone and out of Cleveland, Ohio. He is a bad coach to have around, who doesn’t hold his players accountable for silly mental mistakes, and preaches lack of fundamentals, and we won’t be winning anything anytime soon with him and this lazy team.
